Zusammenfassung: This product, even though it's getting quite old now is still one of the best CPU's on the market. It absolutely destroys the AMD Bulldozer FX-8150(which i upgraded from) in almost every aspect, it runs much cooler, it overclocks a hell of a lot easier and it runs games better than almost any other...
For goodness sake, don't spend any more - this is the best i5!

Zusammenfassung: After a lot of months quizzing colleagues and reading forums, I decided to go with the learned crowd of Amazon reviewers and get this. In short, it's brilliant and it works well with a fuss-free standard install.
Zusammenfassung: Ordered this Intel processor along with a compatible Intel motherboard and USPS lost it. Contacted Amazon and they overnighted a replacement shipment. Processor and motherboard are humming right along in their tower as I have come to expect from Intel products and I'm a happy camper.
I use it in a MSI Z77A-G45 board which comes with its own OC software. I can OC it to 4.2GHz in an instant, but instead, I have my CPU set to automatically increase the frequency when needed. So it runs at 2.6GHz (all 4 cores) and can run all 4 cores at a max of 3.7GHz when needed.
