Love this Proccessor
23 Februar 2013
Zusammenfassung: I upgraded my computer recently and went with this proccessor, and I dont regret it. The price is right, and the speeds are incredible. Dont forget to couple this thing with lots of memory, and you wont be sorry. I am able to run games, videos, and audio with no problem.
Pro: What's not to love? It's everything an enthusiast with a budget could have wanted. Sure the 3570k has overtaken it in the value department, but pound-for-pound the 2500k is *almost* identical. I am a "power user". As in, I do lots of intensive stuff with my computer. And the thing is ALWAYS on. 1...
Kontra: Absolutely none. This chip has seen my mobo die, a HORRIBLE thermal paste job by Yours Truly, and a loose fan, in addition to its actual job doing math-y stuff. It's never so much as hiccuped.
Zusammenfassung: Do the comparisons. Most people are buying dreams. What they dream a supposedly "faster" processor will grant them. The think they will soar above everyone else. Fact is, most speed in similar models is unnoticed at the keyboard/mouse/screen today. But this is what is being sold to the masses.
Zusammenfassung: I'm afraid to OC again...I can't afford to keep swapping PSUs. Fortunately, I doubt I would notice a difference because this machine is 98% gaming only. I rarely multitask. All games run at max settings. No hiccups.
Pro: Look for an expert's opinion! I built the machine and it is awesome. I shy away from OC because my first attempt cooked the PSU. Since swapping brands, it runs awesomely. The chip OCd great.
Zusammenfassung: I snagged this processor on ebay not long after launch day new for 140 bucks. No idea why the seller sold it so cheap, but built up my bedroom computer I'm typing this review on right now with it.
Zusammenfassung: Intel Core i5-2400 Quad-Core Processor 3.1 GHz 6 MB Cache LGA 1155 - BX80623I52400 installed on the Intel Desktop Board Media Series LGA 1155 DDR 1333 Micro-ATX Form Factor - BOXDH67BLB3 was ordered for a family member's computer build.
Pro: The leds are bright enough to light up my case and aren't too bright. these fans are quiter than I expected also. There preformance is okay but they are quite. I would definently recomend These to anyone who wants to light up there case and get some average fans.
Best Processor For Gaming WITH GPU - READ for rendering applications information
Clifford K., Newegg

Zusammenfassung: It is important to note: with the i5-3570K running at about the same price now it wouldn't hurt to upgrade for little to no extra cost. As stated above: if you are not running a GPU configuration, definitely upgrade to the i5-3570K as this has the updated HD 4000 integrated graphics.
Pro: At a price of $220 (or lower on a sale) this is the best processor you can get for gaming IF you are also running a GPU. For 99.9% of games you will not see a performance increase with an i7 over this processor as most games can not utilize the hyper-threading technology incorporated into those p...
Kontra: If you do video rendering, image rendering, light baking, work with any of the popular modeling packages (3ds Max, Maya, etc), etc - DO NOT BY THIS PRODUCT. These packages and rendering suites can fully utilize the additional processing power of the i7. You will drastically increase your performa...
