Zusammenfassung: If you don't want to spend over $150 for a process then this is the right choice. This 2nd Generation i5 CPU runs like it's brand new. Even though I purchased it "Used", the processor has probably never been under any real stress loads as it came out of a Dell Optiplex business computer.
Zusammenfassung: I had this installed in my PC a few years ago. It was a tremendous upgrade for me and the improvement was absolutely stunning. At the time, I was playing RIFT which was insanely CPU intensive and it cleared up a lot of the problems I was having due to my graphics card being bottlenecked by my...
Zusammenfassung: Great CPU, gonna have trouble finding a replacement and I think I will start looking soon as I want to start exploring the world of VR.

Kontra: Not one thing I can think of... Even the stock CPU fan that came with it was awesome, although I moved on to water cooling. I was at 4.8 solid before switching.
Pro: I've purchased this cpu online 11/17/2011 for $199.99 because one of my friends had told me that this cpu is a great i5 to overclock for the price. Also my friend had told me how great Sandybridge type cpus are so I thought "why not". Another friend of mine had told me how to adjust the voltages ...
